💰 | Brand to Money

Navigating the intersection of brands and capital is where opportunity meets strategy.

Venture Capital & Family Offices

Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with over a dozen Venture Capital firms (VCs) and Family Offices, each engagement offering a unique learning experience in the power of strategic resource deployment.

Raising money isn’t about the money—it’s about the potential. The potential to build something extraordinary. Over the past decade, I’ve found that some of the most exciting opportunities come from creative deal structuring.

I bring a fresh perspective where nothing is off-limits. The best deals often emerge from thinking differently. And embracing the power of the word NO.

Private Equity

I’m always learning. And this is an area in development. 🚧

Over the past few years, I’ve built a strong portfolio of Private Equity (PE) firms, including those like Yellow Wood Partners that specialize in consumer brands (e.g. beauty). What they all share is a deep curiosity. Brands seek someone who can facilitate warm introductions, identify key patterns, and dive into EBITDA—leveraging insights to drive smarter decisions.

Remember, large holding companies are looking to leverage their infrastructure + reach. For example, General Mills have a PE firm in-house. Poke around their Innovation Arm: Gold Medal Ventures (many others).

Investment Banking

Talking to an investment banker early is key to scaling, raising capital, or planning an exit. They provide market insights, structure financial strategies, and connect you with the right investors or buyers before you actually need them.

Engaging early helps optimize financials, refine valuation, and position your business for the best deal. Waiting until you're in urgent need limits your options. Building relationships ahead of time gives you strategic guidance, keeps you ahead of market trends, and ensures you're ready when the right opportunity comes.

If you’re looking for a referral, def hit me up. I have some terrific friends… including Richard Kestenbaum from Triangle Capital (check his recent exits!).
